Lawyer Shoot

I forgot to write about this shoot a few weeks back after it was completed, but Lou and I had a shoot with a local law firm in Philadelphia. There really wasn't much to the shoot to write about. It consisted of basic headshots and an outside group-shot. The shoot had a start time of 9am, and ran til about 3:30-4pm. With this shoot we had two lights, one hitting our models and the other hitting the back drop. We used a reflector to bring in more light on to their faces because it was a tad dark in the room. We took the headshots inside with a 10-15 break between each model. The group-shot outside was very tricky. I have never done shoot where i bring big lights on to a national park for a shoot so I really didn't know that you needed a permit to shoot at independence national park if you have any kind of large lighting equipment. Getting the lawyers down in a timely matter was also a bit of an issue because they still had phone calls and other corporate business to attend to. It took about 25-30 minutes to get everyone down, it actually almost backfired on us because a park ranger actually came up and wanted us to leave but he ended up being understanding and gave us an additional 20 minutes. In that time frame we got all the lawyers together fixed their suits, ties, hair, etc. We got the shots we needed then we packed up and headed back to the studio to unpack and end the day.
